Please remember to bring silver coins along to contribute to your grade’s silver coin line and donate to the CHIPS program.

Thank you

Awesome Athletics

Today we braced the conditions and travelled to Casey Fields for the District Athletics. All students did Beacy proud with their effort and sportsmanship, resulting in an overall finish of 2nd place for our school. Congratulations to everyone who represented our school and well done to those who are moving onto Division.

My Dad is the Best!

Students in 3/4C revisited persuasive writing last week, when they penned pieces titled ‘My Dad is the Best’ for Fathers’ Day. They did a fantastic job providing reasons why their dads were in fact the best. They also gave examples of each reason, and used persuasive techniques such as powerful language and even ‘expert’ endorsements!

We hope the Dads enjoyed the read and had a wonderful Fathers’ Day!

Science Awesome Activities- Budding biologists?

The group of scientists Miss Sargeant has been working with had a great time last Thursday looking at lots of different models of the human body.  At the end of the session they all shared a fact they learnt on the day.  We may have some future biologists in the mix!
