Walk to School Day

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us on our Walktober Walk to School walk this morning. We had over 120 students and a great deal of parents and teachers in attendance. It is fantastic to see so many active people in our school community, great job everyone!

Word of the Week

Our Investigations theme this term ‘Let’s Celebrate!’, with a particular focus on celebrating our heritage and learning about different world celebrations.

We’ve been looking at vocabulary related to this topic. One such word is nation, and 3/4C recently completed a word map in order to really understand it …

Challenge: Can you put our word of the week into a sentence? You are allowed to use other forms of the word.

Walk to School October!!!

Hi Parents,
For the month of October we are encouraging our students to actively come to school each day. During class we will be keeping a tally. Students can walk, scoot, ride or skate to school. At the end of the month the scores will be tallied up and the winning grade gets rewarded with a trophy.
Please get involved and walk, scoot, ride or skate to school.
Thanks
Miss Drougas
