Big Bash Excursion

Hi guys, here is all the information required for our Big Bash excursion tomorrow:

– Be at school by 8am – we will not wait for more than 5 minutes for anyone who is late.
– You need to bring your own bag with fruit, snack, lunch and a drink in it. No money is to be brought.
– You need to bring your school hat (your teacher will remind you in the morning).
– It would be a good idea to bring some sunscreen along.
– No devices are to be brought along.
– You must be in full school uniform. If you would like to wear a scarf, cape, accessories, etc of one of the teams playing that is okay.
– No sports equipment eg. cricket bats/balls.

Looking forward to a great day!

State Hoop Time

Congratulations to the Grade 4 Boys All Stars team (Riley Haringsma, Brenden Sala, Ethan Taylor, Logan Grant, Archer Shorey, Bodie De La Rue, Mitchell Zeunert, Archer Radings and Korban Stone) who represented our school at STATE Hoop Time yesterday at Dandenong Stadium. After 4 great games with 2 wins, 1 draw and a loss, they made it into the Elimination Final. Although they didn’t get through to Quarter Finals, the boys had an excellent day and were super proud of their efforts as a team!

Well done boys and a special thank you to our two Grade 6 Coaches Kobe Shipp and Jamie Roberts, and our wonderful parents for supporting, cheering, helping out and driving on the day!!!!!!!

HPV Update

The Human Powered Vehicle teams are into Day 3 of the RACV Energy Breakthrough in Maryborough. They are having a fantastic time here with over 100 other schools.

The two teams, Ironman and Storm, had to present about the safety, design and construction of their vehicles and passed with flying colours. Then they completed an obstacle race and time trial. Ironman came first and Storm came 2nd.

Today they are getting ready for their 8 hour endurance race. Good luck team!

Fun Run

We had a great day on Friday at our Fun Run. Thank you to everyone for the support.

You still have time to donate to our school and have the opportunity to be in the running for a BMX bike. Here is the link for the CUA School Fundraising page where parents can log in and create a profile for the child to raise money for the fun run. Once they have created their profile they need to share it to receive donations.

Any child who raises at least $1 online will go into the draw to win a Colony Premise BMX Bike which retails at $750. The raffle will be drawn at assembly.

Donations can be accepted until Tuesday 24th October.
